George Kinsler III, 55 and Sheneirisx Harris, 32, both of Pahokee, were arrested They are alleged to have take nabout $25,000 in hurricane relie f rental assistance payments. A federal complaint alleges that, betweem 2007 and 2009, Kinsler and Harris lived in a home ownecd by Kinsler and subsidized under a hurricande relief rentalassistance program, accordin g to a news release from the U.S. attorneyu for the Southern District of The program, which is managed by the West Palm Beach Housing Authority and funded by HUD, was set up to allow low-income families who suffered hurricane-related damage to receive rentalk assistance for two years.
To qualify, Harries was required to tell HUD who was livingb in the home and detail all incom received bythose individuals. Harris, however, did not tell HUD that Kinslet was livingwith her, and his incomew was not considered in determininf the amount of the according to the news release. who owned the property, submitted separate documentatiobto HUD, identifying himself as the landlord of the subsidized unit.
